Where it all began

Managing Director Dom Altobelli's journey began with a simple belief: Australian businesses deserved better.

Starting as a customs broker, he witnessed firsthand the frustrations companies faced navigating international trade. This sparked a vision that would eventually reshape how Australia connects with the world.

What started as one man's vision became an official reality.

D A Customs & Forwarding P/L was registered, marking our formal entry into the Australian logistics landscape. We built our reputation one shipment at a time, earning trust through reliability and an unwavering commitment to getting it right.

As our expertise grew and our reach expanded, we evolved our identity to better reflect our mission.

A New chapter in Vietnam

A bold move to Ho Chi Minh City saw Dom relocate a manufacturing operation from Australia. This step sparked a deep, enduring connection with Vietnam and began more than 35 years shaping the Vietnam–Australia trade relationship.

For over a decade, we've proudly stood alongside cystic fibrosis survivors and their families. From 2012-2015, we sponsored CF Swim MacArthur, supporting brave individuals who refused to let their condition define their limits.

Since then, our partnership with CF Goulburn & District continues this commitment, proving that some journeys are more important than any cargo we'll ever move.

Books Over the Sea

We’re proud to support Books over the Sea Inc., a charity dedicated to improving educational and literacy opportunities for children in remote and disadvantaged communities, starting with Fiji.

Our Managing Director Dom Altobelli, is a board member and has been deeply involved—from helping establish a school library at Vacalea Primary to taking on the incredible King Kong Climb challenge in Fiji to raise funds for new libraries.
